To develop an aerodynamic bicycle that controls airflow, Bianchi drew inspiration from cutting-edge technology sectors such as the automotive, aerospace, and architecture industries. The Oltre was designed using advanced CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation software to predict the effects of aerodynamic drag and was tested in the wind tunnel.

Countervail Technology

The Bianchi CV Vibration Cancelling System combines viscoelastic material with a special carbon fiber architecture to disperse vibrations. The benefits for the cyclist are greater control, reduced muscle fatigue, and increased energy. Bianchi CV suppresses 80% of vibrations while increasing the stiffness and strength of carbon frames and forks. Tested in all racing conditions.

Conventional passive damping in frames with rubber surface inserts and isolators is only partially effective compared to the integrated vibration suppression system developed by Bianchi for cycling and tested in extreme conditions.
