• ICR Plus Integration - Whether you have mechanical or electronic shifting, all cables, wires, and wires run invisibly under the stem, through the head tube, and into the frame. And all without additional friction or unpleasant noise.
• Integrated seatpost clamp - Beautifully integrated into the frame, the seatpost clamp not only looks great, but also improves aerodynamics.
• Integrated lid - The Gain features a single external cable connection to allow for rear wheel removal. The cable runs neatly under the chainstay and is hidden behind an integrated, discreet cover. Access to the battery port under the bottom bracket is also nearly invisible, and the stem trim ensures a seamless transition to the top tube.
• Mahle X20 The heart of the Gain is the rear hub motor. The sophisticated drivetrain provides reliable and smooth motor assistance at levels designed to make riding easier, not to define it. Furthermore, because the motor is positioned directly on the rear hub, you can pedal when the motor isn't in use without feeling dragged. The Gain features a sophisticated torque simulation algorithm to optimally support the power applied to the pedal. In other words, this bike supports you exactly when you need it, saving energy when you pedal effortlessly.
• Integrated battery iX350/353 Wh - The battery is one of the most visible parts of an e-bike system, so Orbea has done everything possible to make it as small, light, and discreet as possible. The battery disappears elegantly into the frame.
• Compatible with range extender: An optional external battery pack can be connected, which fits conveniently into Gain’s bottle cage and gives the bike even more range.
• Mahle Pulsar One Display - Gain's control center consists of a sleek, discreet button on the top tube and a stem-mounted bike computer.The simple interface allows you to turn the system on or off, check the motor assist level and view the remaining battery charge.
• Charging port - Gain doesn't require a lot of cables, ports, or accessories. The connection to the CAN (Controller Area Network) bus is a single contact, necessary for charging, system diagnostics, or connecting a range extender.
• Pass Sensor Gain's balanced and smooth motor assistance requires a sophisticated sensor. Hidden inside the cassette end ring is a pedal assist sensor (PAS). It measures the power applied to the pedal and adjusts the motor's output accordingly.
• OMR - Orbea Monocoque Carbon OMR frames combine high-modulus and high-strength carbon fibers with a standard layup to optimize the stiffness-to-weight ratio. The use of a so-called bladder molding process with EPS molds and polyurethane (PU) inserts on the head tube and bottom bracket prevents wrinkles and irregularities in critical areas of the frame. At the same time, carbon is saved without compromising the frame's strength.
• Orbea Geometry for long distances Unlike racing geometry, which is specifically tuned to cut through the wind, this is a bike that can be ridden in a more relaxed manner, thus increasing endurance. However, the bike can still be ridden precisely and intuitively. The angles and dimensions have been carefully adapted to the different available sizes to maximize riding comfort. Because more comfort means longer tours.
