Details of the Specialized STUMPJUMPER EVO PRO

When Specialized set out to design the Stumpjumper, they had a few goals. They wanted it to be the lightest bike possible, without sacrificing durability. They wanted a stiff frame that handled corners like it was on rails, and a geometry that everyone could enjoy. All of this was then combined with the best suspension kinematics they could find.

Even the greatest suspension travel is useless without the right kinematics, which is why Specialized made it a priority when designing the Stumpjumper. Using lessons learned from the Enduro suspension design and more than 1,000 hours of development on the trails and in the suspension lab, they've significantly improved performance, creating a powerful, efficient, and lively bike that every rider desires. Furthermore, anti-squat behavior has been increased, so the frame is more resistant to bobbing. Obstacles in corners are also now absorbed better, resulting in less loss of speed. The bottom line? The Stumpjumper tackles all downhill trails with control, while tackling all climbs with ease.

The Stumpjumper's S-size geometry is perfect. Long, low, and flat, with a low-offset fork and steeper seat tube angle, it all makes for a better ride. With the adjustable Flip Chip, you can adapt the bike to any condition and ensure the Stumpjumper is tuned for any terrain.

When Specialized introduced the SWAT Box on the Stumpjumper, they increased storage space. On this Stumpjumper, they increased the volume and added a SWAT bladder that allows you to stash an additional 650 ml of water in the down tube.
